How it works
EsterCycle uses a simple alcohol solvent and a cheap catalyst to break down plastics to their fundamental building blocks under mild conditions. These building blocks are then separated and purified so they can be remade into recycled plastics with properties that match first generation material while drastically reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
